Well,

I obviously reviewed low because it's unfinished...

And you said 'something's wrong with the file and you can't get the swf. out of it to submit.' , then why don't you just go on the file and copy everything into a new flash file. That might work.

It was pretty good, but most of it was just his mouth moving and the fast part of the song playing...

I'll give you 3/5.

Well,

The highscoring is all credited to your ability to animate frame-by-frame very cleanly. I think I read somewhere that you have a tablet? - That would explain it. So, if I were you, I would use this talent to it's full extent. I'm not exactly sure how to do that, but you have to have the following points:
- Good concept
- Well done and clean animation
- Good voice acting. (With an average microphone that doesn't crack)
- Background music
- Full colour
- Humour
- Originality

And I think you'd be set! Now, I'm not trying to make you feel obligated to do so, but I'm sure it would be a success if you really put your mind to it. Good luck, though!

KenSkaii responds:

im working on a bigger project, and it definately has all of those pointers. I'm not sure about the microphone though, but i can try to fix it. thanks for your review

Well,

Of course people now, here, in 2006 are going to say "This sucked crap." but I took this into perspective. Of course the animation is bad, and you know why? You freaking submitted this in 2000!! And for a 2000 animation it's not all too bad. The jokes were decent; one of them made me laugh: "Wrong Brian."
"Fuck." "Fuck." "Fuck." "Fuck." "Fuck." "Fuck.", etc.

The "Ka-boom" sound was obviously too repetitive. The cartoon was pretty long, too. It wasn't too slow though, yet not very fast; resulting in slight boredom, and failure of the wanting to watch until the end.

I think I'll give you a 4/5. Once again, just because I thought of what I would say if it were 2000 when I reviewed this.

Hey, pretty good.

I really really enjoy your style of animation. It's easy, yet it looks really awesome.

Your cartoons are all very humurous, and well done. They're all just long enough to fit the idea. I'm not saying I do not enjoy your "Osama jokes", if you will, but I will be looking forward to other ideas from you. As in, your own characters. I'm sure you are very capable of creating a couple funny shorts, maybe even a series, that will be successful.

Anyways, I have voted 5 on all of your submissions; as you read I enjoyed them all.

Hahahaha.

The beginning was pretty boring. But the frame-by-frame kept me watching ;)

The ending was hilarious! Amazing. This is really funny and another of you're great amazing ideas. Awesome, awesome, awesome!

Loved it,

-Flashmaster-

That was amazing.

I truly admire this. It is wonderful. This was a breath-taking, tremendous animation that is well done and touching. Everything fit well; the music, the backgrounds, the phrases, etc... I am glad to see there were no spelling errors as well that I noticed.

I really enjoyed this and I will reward you with my 5.

This fully, without a doubt, deserves my 5.

This is GREAT!

The animation is awesome, the syncing was perfect and it left me satisfied at the end.

One question: Have you ever seen "Bonus Stage" by Matt Wilson. He has some submissions here on Newgrounds. I asked you that because your animation reminded me of his a lot. It was very professional later on; the beginning was a bit rough.

Anyway, this cartoon had it all! The smoothness, the humour, the style, the professional animation type, and the awesomeness!

Hahaha well, yes. Like I said this deserves my 5. Amazing work here.

RansomArceihn responds:

Yeah, I'm a fan of Bonus Stage. I wouldn't say I'm near Matt Wilson's level at this point, though, but maybe some day. That's encouraging to hear, in any case. Thanks for the review!

Interesting...

The character sucked, sorry to say... It was poorly constructed and sloppy... Go watch my claymation, "The Fight of Clay," and tell me what you think of the "special guest" appearance. :P No seriously check it out.

WHAT THE HELL!? That was SUCH A RIP-OFF of Steven King's IT! Why the hell would you do that!? That is SO GAY. And the joke shouldn't be counted as a joke in your gay world either.

And you'd better respond to the review or you're getting a butt-load of e-mails, prick.

Humour: 0, because I know Blockhead was in this to bring a few laughs with his funny retarded humour, but he shouldn't have been in it. I would have liked the cartoon better if there was no Blockhead.

Other than that, the concept/script/animation/anything else was very very good! You can animate and you definetly show the hard work in your cartoons. This was pretty awesome, other than Blockhead. Not saying I don't enjoy the actual Blockhead episodes, I mean those are great! Just that this "Time Squad" should never had had him in it. But alright. X)

The-Swain responds:

It was actually the other way around. There ended up not being enough of him in this one. I'll explain.

See, the film started as an idea between my friend Dan and I (as seen in the credits) about a movie preview for a Blockhead film that I had no intention of making. We had a couple jokes about velociraptors and whatnot, but I started to think that I could actually make a film out of it. I didn't know it was going to take me so long and I wouldn't have started it if I had, but now I have no choice but to finish what I've begun.

I wasn't afraid to mix Blockhead with action/drama because I didn't know I was really making a drama. I was aiming for a cheesy '80s film story, which I do think I managed to nail.

I win.
